Mount Washington is a popular ski resort located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It is situated approximately 25 kilometers from the City of Courtenay and about 50 kilometers from the City of Campbell River. Located on Mt. Washington is the Strathcona Provincial Park and Mount Washington Alpine Resort. Known for the extensive hiking trails in the summer and excellent skiing and snowboarding in the winter, this is a year-round destination you can’t miss!
 
Mount Washington Alpine Resort offers a variety of terrain suitable for all skill levels, from beginner slopes to challenging runs. The resort has a vertical drop of 505 meters (1,657 feet) and receives abundant snowfall during the winter months. A few of the winter sports available are cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing, and snowmobiling. Staying close to the Lodge is also an option - choose from the variety of accommodation options including chalets, condos or ski-in, ski-out cabins.
 
During the summer months, the Resort is open for mountain biking, ziplining and hiking. Enjoy numerous trails winding through the surrounding alpine environment into the Strathcona Provincial Park. The resort also features a scenic chairlift ride that provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests.
 
Mount Washington is situated within a picturesque natural setting. The mountain itself boasts stunning panoramic views of the surrounding coastal mountains, forests, and the Strait of Georgia. The area is known for its pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife.
